On January 24 and 25, 2026, the opening stop of Europe's largest freeride test event will once again take place in Hochfügen.
At the FreerideTestival Hochfügen, you can test skis, snowboards, telemark equipment, helmets and gogglesfor two days free of charge. Directly on the mountain, under real conditions and without any pressure to buy. In addition, workshops, courses and safety training sessions offer the perfect opportunity to improve your powder skills and learn new techniques. A highlight for all deep snow lovers and those who want to become one.
The event area at the valley station of the 8er Jet is the central meeting point of the FreerideTestival: this is where the test materials are handed out, information on the program and guided formats is provided and where many of the joint activities start and end.
Our tip:
To avoid waiting times at the event, we recommend that all participants secure their tickets online in advance!
