Exploring Alpine Forest Roads and Mountain Landscapes
Several mountain bike routes around Hochfügen lead through the alpine scenery of the Zillertal Alps. The network primarily consists of longer tours with significant elevation gain, following forest roads and established mountain routes. During the summer months, no lift facilities are available for bike transport. All tours are therefore completed under your own power and are best suited to riders with a good level of fitness.
The routes around Hochfügen connect valleys, alpine pastures and higher mountain terrain, offering a variety of touring options in a peaceful alpine setting. Alongside classic circular rides, some tours extend over several hours and pass through diverse landscapes. Many routes feature longer climbs and greater distances, making solid endurance an important prerequisite.
