Marked and Secured Slopes
All official and secured slopes are marked on both sides with piste poles. Ski routes, however, are marked on one side only. When using a ski route, remain within ten metres to the left or right of the markers. Leaving a marked slope or ski route means entering uncontrolled terrain. These areas are not marked, groomed, monitored or secured. As only open and marked slopes are controlled, all winter sports participants should be aware that any activity outside these areas is undertaken at their own risk. Please note that uncontrolled terrain may contain natural hazards such as rocks, steep slopes and other obstacles. Ski routes are secured but not monitored.
