The tradition lives on

The Hochfügen rope race is as closely associated with Hochfügen as winter sports are with the Zillertal - it's hard to imagine life without it!

On April 12, 2026, we will be celebrating the 60th edition of this legendary race, which calls for team spirit, fun and skill. It starts at 09:30 on the Waidoffen 11 piste - with the rope race for adults and the children's rope race.

Keep it together is our motto! Three skiers, connected by a rope, master the giant slalom course together - a real highlight for all participants and spectators.
