61st Hochfügen rope race

The tradition lives on

The Rope Race is as much a part of Hochfügen as winter sports are of the Zillertal. It’s simply impossible to imagine Hochfügen without it.
And in the 2026/27 season, it will once again be a firm fixture on the calendar: on the final day of the season, 11 April 2027.

For decades, three skiers have tied themselves together with a rope to tackle the race course as a team. And it’s no longer just the adults taking part: children and young people also line up together at the Hochfügen Rope Race.

We’re looking forward to the 61st edition – and especially to celebrating this special end to the season together with Rope Race fans, guests and many familiar faces.

Race details, programme and registration information will be announced soon.
