FreerideTestival 2026

As usual, the 2026 FreerideTestival series kicks off here in Hochfügen.
At the FreerideTestival weekend from January 24 to 25, 2026, you can once again put equipment (skis, snowboards, helmets, goggles, backpacks, avalanche transceiver equipment, etc.) from leading manufacturers through their paces free of charge and without obligation.

The event area at the valley station of the 8er Jet is the central meeting point of the FreerideTestival. This is where you will receive your test equipment, find all the information about the program and the guided formats - and this is also where many of the joint activities start and end.

The guided program is deliberately geared towards different levels of experience and enables a safe and suitable introduction for all interested parties:

Beginner guiding for anyone who wants to get to know freeriding or freetouring

Guiding for advanced skiers to further develop technique, line choice and understanding of the terrain

Women Only - Freeride Day with a focus on exchange, technique and shared experiences

Telemark crash course for anyone who wants to try out this technique

All formats are accompanied by experienced guides and experts from FreeridePoint Hochfügen. The focus is always on practice, knowledge and safety awareness.

In addition to the sporting program, the FreerideTestival also offers space for encounters and exchange. The afterhour on Saturday with drinks and sound as well as the subsequent BOFF film night at the event site invite you to linger, exchange ideas and be inspired.
As a participant, you can also win great prizes as part of a small competition.

Participation in the FreerideTestival in Hochfügen is free of charge. A valid ski pass is required and registration with the organizers is necessary.
