Hochfügen is located at 1,500 to 2,500 meters above sea level in the Zillertal - where the winter is reliable and the view gets wider. The high-altitude village and the ski area merge into one another here: Hotels and accommodation directly on the slopes, short distances and direct access to the skiing experience characterize Hochfügen.

In winter, skiing is the main activity in Hochfügen, complemented by snowboarding, tobogganing, cross-country skiing and winter hiking. Spacious pistes, clear lines and the high alpine location create conditions for sporty skiing days as well as enjoyable skiing - for all age groups and different requirements. Options away from the groomed pistes and huts with character in the middle of the ski area complete the offer.

In summer, Hochfügen is a peaceful starting point for mountain adventures around the village. Hikes through the alpine pasture area, themed and family trails as well as active offers in the high alpine surroundings invite you to consciously experience the mountains. In the summer months, the cable cars are not in operation, while accommodation and businesses in the village are partially open.
