Expert knowledge at first hand
With a SNOWHOW mountain and ski guide you will go into the backcountry in groups of maximum seven participants. The guide will explain the basics of planning your freeride or tour day as well as strategic decision making in the backcountry. Using the SNOWHOW freeride app, you'll also learn about the pros and cons of digital tools.
In the one-day practical workshops, theoretical content of avalanche awareness is discussed directly in the groups and immediately applied and practiced in the field. Our workshops avalanche are aimed at both beginners in avalanche awareness and slightly advanced.

- Terrain knowledge and slope gradients
- Avalanche situation report and interpretation of avalanche warning levels
- Use of digital tools in avalanche awareness
- Standard measures and behavior in the terrain
- Emergency management
Under the title "Digital Avalanche Science", the advantages and disadvantages of digital tools will be demonstrated using the SNOWHOW freeride app.
Rental equipment for emergency management will be provided free of charge by SHOWHOW upon request (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, backpack).
