The ski-in – ski-out dream in Hochfügen in the Zillertal valley

Higher. Lovelier. Snowsafe.

“Jump out of bed and onto the slopes...” – this is a dream come true for all skiers in Hochfügen, located at the entrance to the Zillertal valley. The ski resort is 1,500m above sea level, in the middle of the Hochfügen ski area with connections to Ski Optimal Hochzillertal/Kaltenbach and the Fügen Spieljochbahn cable car. Be it a dream hotel with multi-award winning cuisine, a romantic chalet, a guesthouse or a cosy Alpine cabin – suitable accommodation can be found in high-Alpine Hochfügen, right at the wide an spacious slopes. The car can also enjoy a holiday here as everything from ski hire to après-ski mountain huts is easy to reach on foot.

As an “all-rounder”, Hochfügen offers skiers, off-piste skiers, ski tourers, cross-country skiers, winter hikers and snow lovers the chance to fulfil all their winter wishes. Ski and snowboarder racers, small and large groups, families and couples can all enjoy themselves in Hochfügen. They will find varied slopes, breathtaking panoramic views, steep slopes for an extra adrenaline rush, mogul slopes for experienced skiers, firn snow slopes in spring or gentle slopes and runs on which to enjoy carving. All of this is accessible in 90 kilometres of slopes in the ski resort network with Hochzillertal and on the Spieljochbahn via shuttle bus connection. Hochfügen is particularly popular among powder snow fans. With its “smart fun” motto, Hochfügen provides special services to freeriders in the form of information and courses so that they are well trained and able to enjoy the off-piste ski areas responsibly.

New: 6-seater Waidoffen chair lift

In November 2016, the world’s first six-seater detachable chair lift (6-CLD) called “Waidoffen” will replace the 4-seater “Hochfügen 2000” chair lift. The wider exit path and the gentle gradient in the exit area make it easier for beginners in particular to have an enjoyable start to their skiing experience. Overall, the new chair lift offers ergonomic individual seats, an integrated seat heating system, ultra-light weather-proof covers and the new “Auto-lock” child safety locks, providing a high level of safety and comfort. Waidoffen provides a comfortable, safe and quick ascent in under four minutes to the mountain station over 2,300 metres above sea level. Last but not least, highly efficient photovoltaic cells on the mountain station set new standards in sustainability.

New: FuLine Hochfügen

FunLine Hochfügen is located below the new 6-seater Waidoffen chair lift and is a mixture of slopes, a cross course and a snow park. The varied course includes steep curves, rollers, hills and crazy snow lines. It is suitable for all ages and ability levels and is great fun for all the family.

New: Snowpark Lamark

The new park at the Lamark lifts increases the range of activities on offer in Hochfügen for even more fun on the slopes. The park consists of three lines and a total of 13 elements and is shaped twice a day to provide shredders with ideal snowboarding conditions.
