The Childern’s Rope Race gives youngsters an opportunity to show off their skills! The slope of the Lamark lifts is conquered in teams of three who are connected by a rope. Children aged 6 to 11 are eligible to take part with some fantastic prizes up for grabs. An all-day fun kids’ party ensures that youngsters will have a fun day of skiing they’ll never forget.
3rd International Rope Race in Hochfügen on 10 April 2016
The Rope Race and Hochfügen tied the inseparable knot 50 years ago. Although the event started out mainly as a competition, its main focus now is “fun” and “team spirit” among locals, friends and colleagues. While tied together with a rope, the motley rope teams hit the slope as so-called “sporty threesomes”. Anyone can take part! Numerous active racing athletes and former top racers still enjoy taking part. Victory and defeat are decided by seconds in the racing category, which promises great excitement. The Rope Race is accompanied by live music and a traditional “winter burning”, whereby a fire is made to symbolically burn away the spirit of winter.
