In addition, the website of the Lawinenwarndienst Tirol (Tirolean Avalanche Warning Service) provides daily up-to-date avalanche reports, information on snow and avalanches, details of current snow coverage levels and updated danger patterns. It is also worth subscribing to our daily snow report and following our Friday news on Facebook.

The slope gradient codes enable you to avoid certain areas depending on the avalanche conditions. The map also provides information on dangerous areas (risk of falling) as well as on infrastructure services such as avalanche transceiver checkpoints, Wi-Fi hotspots, the avalanche transceiver training search field and the Freeride Checkpoints at access points to the off-piste terrain. You can also find out the tracks being taken by other freeriders. The Check-It and Map Legend buttons provide detailed explanations to help you use the map
