Hochfügen brings the thrill to the ridge: the new Pfaffenbichl winter via ferrata leads directly from the Waidoffenbahn lift at 2,431 m - via wire ropes, footbridges and a 28 m long rope bridge to the summit.

With a length of around 260 m, a height difference of 115 m and a maximum difficulty of B, the via ferrata is ideal for sporty ski fans, ski tourers and anyone looking for something special.

The via ferrata can also be explored during the summer months. A marked hiking trail leading towards the Waidoffen mountain station takes visitors to the start of the via ferrata. The approach itself is already part of the alpine experience and rewards hikers with impressive views of the surrounding mountains.
